Correspondence Courses

YEAR ONE

This introductory course places emphasis on "eye training", enabling the student to correctly identify, assess and interpret all the movements within a sample of handwriting. These interpretations are then put together into an accurate report.

Each lesson consists of a set of notes and an assignment to be completed and returned for marking. A variety of worksheets and handwriting samples will be provided as appropriate.

  12. Spacing of lines, words and letters
  13. Form standard, originality
  14. Tension, left and right tendencies
  15. Rhythm and Harmony
  16. Self esteem, personal pronoun, signature, capitals
  17. A miscellany of strokes
  18. Dominant, secondary and miscellaneous movements
  19. Compiling sections of the report
  20. Examination requirements - The final report
