CONSULTATION FORM OPTIONS FOR WASS VILLAGE HALL The Wass Village Hall committee has spent three years looking into a wide range of options for replacing the village hall. The structural survey indicates that it is uneconomic to repair in the long term. This means that demolition of the current hall may be a necessity in the foreseeable future. (More details can be found on the website www.wass.co.uk selecting ‘Village Hall’.) This consultation is essential before any further decisions can be made. We need to have a high response to this questionnaire (approx. 80%) if we are to be able to persuade funders for a new hallto give us their support, although in the last 18 months the funding situation has deteriorated considerably. A feasibility study has been prepared for us by Bluefish Regeneration and the executive summary from this can be found on the website. This presents the following options, all of which will need substantial local financial support. Option 1: High quality, sustainable design 350 m2 (planning already obtained) Bearing in mind the likely differing possible sources of funding currently available, the balance of funding to be found from donations and other sources is indicated below:
