Fund Raising

Fund raising for the new Village Hall has begun in ernest. The initial request for donations has brought in the amazing sum of about £58,000 including the gift aid.

The Christmas Draw raised another £4,329. The first prize of a television was won by someone who has been associated with the Wombwell Arms for over 20 years.

Every little which can be raised will help, and will prove to possible grant givers how determined we are to succeed.

A variety of grants have been applied for. Ryedale Council has kindly agreed to contribute £25,000.
